Stamped Concrete & Overlays

Stamped Concrete & OverlaysStamped Concrete & Overlays

What Is Decorative Concrete?

Decorative stamped Concrete/Polymer Overlay is a process by which material is layed in place and then given a pattern, texture, and color to mimic natural stone, cobblestone, slate, brick or granite hardscape.  Artisticrete Design LLC. can install and design stamped Concrete/Polymer Overlay for patios, driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, walkways, & steps as well as vertical/flat overlays to existing concrete that is in good condition. We have many different stamp patterns available to meet any design requirement along with a wide variety of colors to match. Check out our photo gallery for a better glimpse of what can be achieved with Artisticrete Design LLC. We look forward to serving you!

What is Stamped Concrete?

Stamped Concrete is installed just as concrete is with the exception of color & pattern. Stamped Concrete offers a custom look due to custom color as well as a custom texture to accent your hardscapes throughout your property. Stamped Concrete is widely popular due to the integrity, customization, & minimal maintenance, as well as an increase in property value.

What is Stamped Poly-Overlay?

"I already have a concrete walkway, patio but I want it stamped"

A very popular question is always inquired by our customers.

It's Simple:

Stamped Overlay is a polymer/cement based fortifier that is applied over existing non-colored, non stamped concrete. Applying just 3/8th of an inch in thickness, it can transform any (inspected) concrete slab to one with the look of new stamped concrete. Color and Pattern choices are the same as choosing a new complete stamped concrete project.

What does it mean to recondition old Stamped Concrete?

"What can I do about my old, ugly, stamped concrete?"

We get this question asked to us countless times.

Do not worry; concrete (if properly installed)can last a lifetime. The surface of a stamped concrete application can get sealant neglect, weathered, stained, and just not have the new, fresh appearance that was once installed initially. However, Artisticrete Design LLC can inspect your older stamped concrete and evaluate whether or not it can be re-conditioned.

Steps to follow

  • Determine if your stamped concrete will benefit from re-condition
  • Once determined, choose any base and highlight color from our color chart within the website.
  • Once colored and highlighted, two coats of acrylic sealant applied
  • Always follow up with new sealant every three years and always maintain with power washing.
  • Enjoy and be proud of what already exists with a simple re-condition.
